FIRST STEP

To apply to MAEH, you need to add personal and academic information and provide a scan (PDF) of the following documents:

1. A Bachelor degree certificate or diploma in the field of natural science or engineering (3 years and 180 ECTS);

a) If you are in your final year of your bachelor studies (2 completed years and 120 ECTS): the transcript of records and certificate of enrolment with expected graduation date stamped and signed by a university official (registrar’s office or student services). Please consider that in case of pre-selection, the final acceptance is dependent on receiving the completed Bachelor degree certificate or diploma;

b) In case you have already obtained a Master degree you should include details in your Curriculum Vitae (CV);

2. Transcripts of record with Grade Point Average (GPA);
3. Proof of proficiency in the English language;
4. Motivation letter;
5. Two reference letters;
6. Curriculum Vitae (CV);
7. Copy of passport.

SECOND STEP

Selected applicants need to send legalised copies of their diploma and transcript of records to secure the scholarship. All original documents need to be received before 7th April 2024, at the University of Algarve by email or courier (address: Universidade do Algarve-Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias, Campus de Gambelas, 8005-139, Faro, Portugal)
